Hi, welcome to my new my blog!

I have not been updating my blog for a while because of technical problem.

It's been a long holiday for me, and Christmas is coming too! So that explains the snow flakes... to get you guys in the Christmas mood.

I update my Yahoo Photos quite regularly. Will advice when there are new pics.

I've posted some stuff to sell at Yahoo Auction, like sneakers and clothes. Do drop in and have a look.

A year is going to past, just like that. Wow!

It has been quite an incredible year for me.

As I read my blog last year, there were a few goals I set for myself for 2004.

To own a car. I bought my dream car in July this year, a black Honda Civic VTi.

To learn a new skill. I picked up photography, bought a Nikon D70 earlier this year and even started to take part in competitions. The Canon Photo Marathon being the most recent.

Went out with my parents today for lunch. It's been a really long time since we did that. I'm always busy and comes home late. Don't get to talk to them much.

We ate at Toa Payoh. Very hard to find a parking lot because it's free parking today.

Went down to Golden Mile to pick up the bus ticket to KL for a friend. Why? Long story.

Headed to Mustafa to grab a new phone for my room. The $6.90 model I got at Sheng Siong sucked totally. No more cheapo brands, so I got a GE.

Came home and cooked a few dishes for the family. Pan fried dory with pesto and red curry chicken with potatoes. Wanted to cook Thai green curry, but couldn't find the paste in my neighbourhood.

A wonderful service by Pst Ulf on a Saturday evening at SIS. When he comes, there is always something new to learn from him.

I enjoyed the part when he said about how God warned Noah - the only good man left in a world full of corruption and violence to prepare for a great flood. With his sons he built a great ark and the animals marched in two by two.

Noah built his ark for a century. All the people around him mock at him, calling him crazy. Although Noah warned them about the great flood, no one took his heed.

By the time the rain started to fall, Noah was ready. The ark was a refuge until the waters went down, leaving Noah and his menagerie high and dry on Mount Ararat.

If the village folks would have listen to God's words, they would have survive. They could have built an ark for themselves too.

All the knocking sound of the ark symbolised judgement, like how the judge will hammer to pass the verdit.

But when Jesus was crucified on the cross, the knocking of the nails symbolised freedom, for we are forgiven by His blood!

What a powerful message!

Henna painting

I went down to Geylang Serai yesterday to have a festive feel of Hari Raya.

Hand painted mini helmets

The place is packed with people doing last minute shopping.

Turkish kebab

Lots of food and festive goodies were available. I ate some otah and a chicken wing. Didn't take much photos, too many people squeezing everywhere.

It rained halfway and I had to run to hide at the nearby Kg Ubi Community Centre.

What a day!
