Going back to office tomorrow after a few days of leave. Sure feels good to have a break once in a while.
Went with Eliss to watch National Treasure yesterday night, together with J and P. They got 4 free tickets and they were so kind to invite us along.
Since childhood, Benjamin Franklin Gates has known that he is decended from a long line of people whose job is to guard a treasure hidden by the Founding Fathers, who hid clues to its whereabouts in the country's currency and on the back of the Declaration of Independence. Now, he has learned of a plot to steal the Declaration, and has only one option: steal it himself. Even if he pulls off this monumental task, keeping the treasure safe is still going to be incredibly hard, especially since the FBI has also gotten wind of the scheme.
Go watch it if you want to be intellectually stimulated by all the clues. And if you are interested in American history. The movie opened my eyes as I thought America does not really have any heritage.
By the way, Diane Kruger looked really good as Dr Abigail Chase.

This is complemented by Internet Explorer for Web surfing.
My 6100 is giving me some problems, the ring tone is down, the ear piece is not working and the speaker phone is useless.
I need some Oxygen... :P
The Jabra BT258
Weighing in at 23 grams, the FreeSpeak 258 is suitably light. However, due to its stylish and somewhat understated behind-the-ear design, the headset is less noticeable than one might think. Using its patented MiniGel earplug, constructed from a soft, gel-like material. This channels sound into the ear canal whilst at the same time blocking background noise.

Nominated as one of the best dressed
Attended so many functions this month that I lost count. Here I am dressed as a Bollywood star! How do I look?

Prince Charming
For Unilever's D&D, I acted in a skit as Prince Charming looking for the owner of the glass slippers.

Bak Kut Teh lunch with B&P
Was flown over to KL by my company over a fortnight ago. I had to come up with a flash movie to be presented on the cycle meeting. It was really interesting, as it was the first time that I've been flown over to another country (Malaysia, still overseas, lar) for work. I believe this is just the beginning, my dream to go regional will come to pass!
It was about 11pm when I reach KLIA. It was humongous! Had to take a train to its arrival hall.
When I was approaching the exit, a guy approached me and asked if I wanted a cab. I told him I wanted to go to Summit Hotel, he wanted to charged me RM80. I told him I would only pay RM60 and walked off. He agreed to the offer in the end. The taxi driver sped all the way at 120km/h and I reached the hotel an hour later.

Chocolate for supper
The hotel room was quite ok, I even got upgraded free of charge to the Club floor as it fully booked that night. Was supposed to go down to reception the next day to move back to standard room, but I didn't. Got to stay in the same room for another night! Breakfast was served on the same floor, so don't have to go down and squeeze with the tour group.
I was treated very well by the agency's boss, Leo. He brought me for tim sum breakfast and bak kut teh lunch. I didn't know there is such a dish called dry bak kut teh. It tasted heavenly with its rich gravy and roasted garlic in the hot pot.
Worked through the weekend with the designer to rush the flash movie. Didn't even have time to shop at KL... Sigh.
On the night to fly home, I realised that my air ticket was booked wrongly at the check in counter. The flight was full and I had to be on waiting list. I was the 33th on the list. I didn't get the seat.
Had to try Malaysian Airline instead, but it was also fully booked. On wait list again. Managed to board finally at 11pm.
Reached home at 1am that night and woke up the next morning to go back to office.
The office loved the movie during the meeting, and that gave me a lot of satisfaction. All the effort was worth it!
I think this is one of the best animation I've watched. Pixar is certainly doing something right. This is the plot, if you have not watched it before.
Mr Incredible is a superhero; or he used to be, until a surge of lawsuits against superheroes submitted by the people they've saved forced the government to hide them in witness protection programs so they could lead normal, anonymous lives. When Mr Incredible's offered the chance to play the role of hero again by a mysterious informant, he jumps at the opportunity, but when it turns out to be a trap set by an old nemesis he had a hand in corrupting, the whole family must reveal themselves to save Mr Incredible and countless innocents.
These are the thoughts that I have after watching this animation.
Passion is everything. Even though we are suppressed by circumstance of our true talents, or even calling, we cannot be stopped unless we want to.
Don't under estimate anyone. That someone whom you are pushing around now may one day come back at you as some big shot. Don't regret it then.
Your spouse is the one that will stand by you in the end. True love will be even purer after going through fire.
